The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application system.
Applications at the moment are open and can close on fifteen December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should fulfill the following requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house with a combined gross domestic income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent people from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
